Brad Pasanek teaches in the English Department at UVa. He is the author of Metaphors of Mind, An Eighteenth-Century Dictionary (Johns Hopkins UP, 2015). His overlapping areas of study include eighteenth-century literature and the digital humanities. His research and teaching focus on literary form and intellectual history, with a developing interest in poetics, fabrication, and maker space technologies (see https://www.historicalpoetics.com/isotope-dating/). He’s currently writing a book about the Josephine Miles, poetic diction, and the pre-digital digital humanities.
